Firefighters respond to burning vehicle in Minto
Minto firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near here around 7:35pm on Nov. 22.
Minto Fire Chief Chris Harrow said firefighters were called to the scene and found a car “fully-engulfed” on the north side of Wellington 109 just north of Teviotdale.
All occupants were out of the vehicle by the time fire crews arrived.
Harrow said the driver had apparently pulled over to the side of the road when he saw smoke coming out from under the hood of his car. The crews extinguished the fire quickly and re-opened the road.
