Finance director to retire at end of May

Erin’s director of finance Sharon Marshall will be retiring at the end of May, announced Mayor Allan Alls at the April 5 council meeting.

Marshall began working for the Township of Erin 30 years ago and continued as treasurer for the amalgamated Town of Erin.

“Just so you know, I talked to the Reeve that hired (Marshall) on Sunday afternoon and he said he didn’t make a mistake,” said Alls at the meeting.

“We do thank you for your many years of good service.”
