Elora Festival Singers with guest organist David Briggs will stage an enchanting autumn performance on Oct. 17 at St. John’s Church in Elora.
The program will include:
– Ave Maria – Based on the Adagietto from Symphony No. 5. with arrangement by Adrian Connell and performed by an eight-part mixed choir and harp; and
– Symphony #2 in C Minor – Performed by The Ressurection Symphony with organ transcription by David Briggs, artist-in-residence at St. James Cathedral, Toronto and also organist Emeritus of Gloucester Cathedral, UK. The soloists are alto Christina Stelmacovich and soprano Julia Morson.
