Fergus hosts garden tour June 23

FERGUS – June is a wonderful time to celebrate the beauty of the world.

Many homeowners work diligently to enhance their property with beautiful gardens.

Horticultural societies showcase these home gardens by inviting the general public to these properties.

On June 23 from 12:30 to 4:30pm (rain or shine) the Fergus Horticultural Society invites the public to visit five unique gardens in the community.

Admission to the garden tour is a donation of a non-perishable food item or money to benefit the Centre Wellington Food Bank.

Brochures with the location of the gardens are available at local businesses or at www.fergushorticulture.ca

“Please look for other horticultural societies holding garden tours within Wellington and Dufferin County during the summer months,” said officials from the Fergus group.
