FEDERAL ELECTION 2015: All-candidate nights fast approaching

While the upcoming federal election on Oct. 19 seems a long way off, communities are getting prepared to keep local residents informed with a series of all-candidate meetings throughout the riding.

Conservative candidate Michael Chong’s website www.chong.ca/events indicated a number of upcoming events.

Erin Optimist All Candidates Meeting - Sept. 14, 8 to 10pm at Centre 2000 hosted by the Erin Optimist Club. (Date and time to be confirmed)

CFUW Georgetown All Candidates Meeting - Sept. 16, 7 to10pm at John Elliot Theatre, 9 Church St Georgetown hosted by CFUW Georgetown. Doors open at 7pm - Debate officially starts at 8pm.

Puslinch All Candidates Meeting - Sept. 23, 7 to 9pm hosted by the Puslinch Optimists at the Puslinch Community Centre.

Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce All Candidates Night - Oct. 7, 7 to 9pm at the Fergus Legion, 500 Blair Street, Fergus hosted by Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce.

Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting - Oct. 8, 7:30 to 9am Acton Town Hall Centre hosted by the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce. Contact the chamber to reserve a seat.
