Farmers of Concession 4N seek support
Farmers of Concession 4 North in Wellington North Township are looking for support to protect prime agricultural land from being licensed as Industrial Extractive.
The area is currently under an application to rezone the prime agricultural land for the extraction of aggregates.
The group has sent their letter to the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, Practical Farmers of Ontario, National Farmers Union of Ontario, and the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario. They are asking to send a letter to the Township of Wellington North in opposition to the proposed pit.
