Beginnings Family Services Guelph is hosting a community run and walk on June 2 at First Christian Reformed Church  at 287 Water Street here.

The purpose is to raise money to support the free services that Beginnings offers those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy in the community.

Registration will begin at 9am and the event will start at 10am. The Family Walk will be 5km long and runners will have the option of doing a 5km or 10 km run. The event is free for children under the age of 4, $10 a person for those aged 5 to 14, and $20 for 15 years or older.

The event includes a free barbecue, children’s entertainment, chip time results, and lots of prizes. A free T-shirt will be given to those who register in advance.

Beginnings is a non-profit, faith-based agency providing pregnancy counselling and adoption services as well as infertility counselling and embryo donation services to clients of all ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations and walks of life.

Beginnings approach is dedicated to building and supporting healthy family relationships. It offers services to everyone, does not participate in political action, and is committed to the concept of openness.
