False alarm at school
On April 21 at about 11pm, Wellington County OPP received information on a possible threat of violence at Centre Wellington District High School.
Police say “after a thorough investigation” officers confirmed the threat was unfounded. Police are reminding the public that all incidents relating to educational institutions are taken seriously. It is an offence of public mischief when someone makes a false statement that accuses someone of committing an offence.
