Erin Refugee Action pairs with Syrian family
The Erin Refugee Action group has been matched with a Syrian family.
The family is expected to arrive within the next four to eight weeks.
The group is asking the community to come out to the next meeting for a volunteer orientation, dry food drop off and to learn more about the family.
Erin Refugee Action is looking for volunteer drivers, child care, movers and computer assistance.
The group also has a gift registry available at erinrefugeeaction.ca/donate.
Food can be dropped off at the meeting or brought to Brighten Up in Erin.
Meeting
The meeting will be held at 7pm on July 26 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Erin.
