Erin”™s annual Shamrock Shuffle on May 26

Register now for the amazing Shamrock Shuffle event May 26 – only a few short weeks away.

This event is organized in partnership with Erin District High School’s athletics director Jamie Hocken, and East Wellington Community Services.

Proceeds raised will support programs for both organizations.

Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best “Shamrock” inspired outfits for the run to add to the community spirit of the event as they show off their best “Shuffle” moves.

Registration can be in person in Rockwood or Erin, through East Wellington Community Services, or register online through the running room website, www.runningroom.com and selecting the Shamrock Shuffle run.

Those who register before May 3 receive a free running t-shirt and all runners are entitled to the free pancake breakfast hosted  and  entered into the grand prize draws, that include running room gift certificates, a package from Brighten Up, Forks Bicycle Shop and more.

“This event is a great community event,” says EWCS manager of community services Erika Westcott.

“There are so many people who look forward to this event each year and this event supports athletics at Erin District High School along with the programs and services at our organization. It is an event that appeals to all ages and skill levels and for many, it is a great motivator for getting back into shape after a long winter”.

The event is Sunday, May 26, starting at Centre 2000 and participants will run or walk in and around Erin.

The registration fee is $40 for adults or our young runners under the age of 12 can register for $10 and take part in a “fun run” 1K run.
