Elora Fergus Edge Ringette Association receives new jerseys for the season

ELORA – On Oct. 5 at 6pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, children from the Fun1 league of the Elora Fergus Edge Ringette Association received their new jerseys for the season. Peter Moorhead (the franchise owner of the Fergus/Elora Tim Hortson’s, who donated the jerseys) was on hand along with coaches Stephanie Smith and Mark Osborne to make the presentations to the Fun1 group. The children were excited to receive their new jerseys and a hot chocolate and Timbits after the practice. This past weekend (Oct. 13 to 15) saw many games for our Elora Fergus Edge teams. The U19’s saw action against the Goderich Ice Crushers and had a 4-2 victory. The U16’s played the St . Thomas Thunder and won 9-1. U12A  played the Forest Xtreme and lost 7-0 and U12B had a game cancelled against the Hanover Heat. Lastly, the Fun 3s played the Waterloo Wildfire and lost 9-2.
