Driver charged in Mapleton crash that sent three to hospital
MAPLETON – A London resident has been charged with careless driving in connection with a Sunday crash that sent three people to hospital.
Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 12 in Mapleton Township on Dec. 28 at about 4:45pm.
"Three of the vehicles five occupants were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries," stated a Dec. 30 press release from the Wellington County OPP.
A 31-year-old from London was charged with careless driving and is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
