Dragonfly, damselfly workshop on July 11

Ontario is home to over 150 species of Odonata (dragonflies and damselflies), many of which are common in the Guelph area.

The Guelph Arboretum workshop is on July 11 from 9am to 4pm will help participants learn more about the attractive insects.  Most species can be identified with a field guide and pair of binoculars. Learn about the creatures, their lives and see why they are an important part of our local ecosystems.

Participants should be prepared for the weather of the day as they will spend time outside catching and identifying the dragonflies of the arboretum.
