PUSLINCH – A 25-year-old Stoney Creek resident was caught driving more than twice the speed limit here.
Around 7:30am on Oct. 7, Wellington County OPP’s traffic unit pulled over a vehicle on Wellington Road 36, a police news release stated.
The driver was charged with speeding 50km/h over the limit and stunt driving.
The vehicle was impounded for two weeks and the driver’s licence was suspended for a month.
The accused is expected in Guelph court at a later date.
