Cross Country at Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Around 1,000 kids from across the Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) gathered with their schools behind the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus on Sept. 27 and 28 for a cross country meet. The start line was located near a blue tractor behind the arena and the finish line was in the baseball field. Participants ran once, and sometimes twice around the designated track.
St. Joseph Catholic School was at the event and had two of its grade four students win in their heats. Winners were Suri Benham and Cameron Jackson.
