Always roll up vehicle windows, lock the doors and pocket the key.

Never leave a vehicle unattended while running.

Use a garage, if available, and lock the door as well as the vehicle.

Always park vehicles in well-lit areas.

Never leave valuable objects or packages in full view. Put them in the trunk.

Give only ignition key to a parking lot attendant. Keep all other keys.

Always have vehicle registration certificates and proof of insurance while driving and don’t leave these documents in the glove compartment.

Callers never have to give their name or testify in court. If the information is used in an arrest callers may be eligible for a cash reward.
