Crime of the Week

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Since May there have been several thefts of historical and bridge plaques.

On July 29, a historical Queen’s Bush Settlement plaque was stolen from Glen Allan Park. On Aug. 15, two historical plaques belonging to the Arthur Agricultural Society were stolen from the entrance to the Arthur Community Centre. Sixteen bridge dedication plaques have been stolen from bridges throughout the county.
