CRA: Beware tax scam
Residents should be aware of email/phone tax scams.
The Advertiser recently received a call from a Belwood resident advising that he was recently contacted by what he felt were scammers seeking personal tax information.
When the resident relayed his suspicion, the caller hung up.
The Canada Revenue Agency has issued several warnings about such scams over the past year
