Collision sends man to hospital
On July 10 at about 9:40am, Wellington County OPP officers and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision here.
Police say a Dodge Caravan collided with a Mazda 3 at Maltby Road and Watson Road.
The 32-year-old male driver of the Mazda 3 sustained critical injuries and was transported by land to a local hospital then later transported by air ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital.
The 39-year-old female driver of the Dodge Caravan sustained minor injuries and was transported by Guelph-Wellington EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
Three passengers travelling in the Dodge Caravan also sustained minor injuries.
County OPP was assisted in the investigation by the Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
