The Guelph Hiking Trail Club is offering a free kids hike on Oct. 14.
The hike, which starts at 1pm, is a 90-minute walk at an easy pace to view the autumn colours and climb the lookout hill to see the city of Guelph from Starkey Trail (near Arkell Road, Guelph).
Participants are asked to bring mugs for refreshments.
There will be two hiking speeds – one at a pace for shorter legs and another at a faster pace/longer distance for those with longer legs.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (no strollers, no pets). Good outdoor walking footwear is recommended.
