Clarification
A story in the March 29 issue of the Wellington Advertiser on the court case involving OPP Sergeant Rogers Woods failed to mention crown attorney Robert Butler was seeking a one-year licence suspension instead of probation.
The story also made reference to the crown asking Justice Anna Hampson to consider a defence request that a portion of any fine imposed should be donated to a local charity. But that request came solely from the defence.
The Advertiser regrets the errors.
