Children aged 12 to 15 can now pre-register for COVID-19 vaccine

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Children aged 12 to 15 can now pre-register with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

The health unit made the announcement on Twitter the morning of May 6, one day after Health Canada authorized use of the Pfizer vaccine for that age group.

“We are not booking appointments for this group at this time,” states the post.

“By pre-registering we will be able to contact you as soon as there are appointments available for your group.”
