Centre Wellington Community Foundation supports local groups on “Giving Tuesday”

Giving Tuesday – Centre Wellington Community Foundation took advantage of “Giving Tuesday” on Dec. 3 and presented two organizations with cheques for their projects. Big Bothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington received a cheque for $15,000 and the Elora Centre for the Arts received $5,000. The presentations were made at the Elora Mill and those taking part were, from left, Brian Price, branch manager of RBC in Fergus; Randall Howard, board chair of the CW Community Foundation; Raymond Soucy, executive director of the CW Community Foundation; Wendy Douglas, youth engagement co-ordinator Big Brother Big Sisters Centre Wellington; Richard Hulley board director; and Lianne Carter executive director at the Elora Centre for the Arts.
