Cats Anonymous Kicks off “Help Fix Rikki”™s Broken Heart” Campaign

Cats Anonymous officially kicked off its “Help Fix Rikki’s Broken Heart” fundraising campaign on Valentine’s Day at the Fergus Pet Valu store.

Volunteers were in attendance selling heart-shaped baked goods, along with two of their shelter cats for adoption, Mack and Zaria. Anyone who made a donation received a heart-shaped cookie baked by a volunteer.

After nine long months of being at the Fergus Pet Valu store, Meg finally found a furever home and was adopted on Feb. 14.

Cats Anonymous still has a long way to go to raise enough funds for Rikki’s heart surgery. For those able to help, visit www.catsanonymous.ca and make a donation under the Canada Helps link.

All donations would be greatly appreciated and a charitable tax receipt can be issued for donations of $20 or more.

Officials want to thank everyone who has already supported Rikki.
