Car wash caper
On Jan. 30 at about 9:12am Wellington County OPP officers received a theft report from the owner of Image Car Wash on Erin Park Drive here.
Police say that a U-Haul van arrived at the carwash property at around 2:13am and a male passenger exited the van.
He managed to bypass one of the two auto-tellers at the carwash and stole an unknown amount of cash.
The U-Haul was last seen travelling northbound on Erin Park Drive, police say, adding the male suspect was wearing dark-coloured clothing and may have had a red hoody on under his jacket.
