Camp out, barbecue for muscular dystrophy at fire station this weekend
This weekend members of the Wellington North Fire Service are holding a camp out and barbecue in support of muscular dystrophy.
Each year the fire service traditionally holds a “boot drive,” and this year they have partnered with Classic Rock 94.5 to hold a community barbecue on Aug. 28 from 11am to 1pm.
In addition, Wellington North Fire Service is holding a “Camp Out for Muscular Dystrophy” fundraiser.
Starting at noon on Aug. 28 and running until Saturday at noon, firefighters will be camping on the roof of the Wellington North Fire Service building.
