In this club, our President is Abby, our Vice-President is Ashlee, our Secretary is Megan, and the Press Reporter is yours truly – Me!
After we elected our officers, the club leader, June, talked to us about kinds of paper, paints and pastes.
We learned that the water colour tube paints look just like acrylic tube paints. All members were even shown some water colour pencils too! Next, we watched a video talking about water colours and how to paint with it properly.
We then tried painting using printer paper and found that the paper was too thin.
On our second try we used thicker paper to compare tube paint and paint trays. We discovered that this paper didn’t leak through as much.
Each club member painted a hummingbird image using a step-by-step video to help guide us. They looked beautiful! Over and out until our next meeting details will be revealed!
