Break-in, theft
On May 16, the Wellington County OPP was dispatched to a break-in on Ellis Road in Puslinch.
Between 3:35 and 4:20pm someone entered the home and garage by kicking in the doors, police say.
“Suspect(s) ransacked the ‘granny suite’ of the home, emptying drawers and tossing items around. A small chest of drawers containing jewelry was stolen,” stated an OPP press release.
Suspects also stole from the garage the following items: a 22hp Sears Craftsman DLT 3000 lawn tractor, a set of men’s right hand Spalding golf clubs, a Sears Craftsman 16” chainsaw and other various tools.
