Body found in conservation area identified
On March 14, 2015 at approximately 11:50 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding the body of a male which was located in the Elora Gorge Conservation Area in Centre Wellington Township.
OPP have identified the deceased as Gerald Derouin, 55 of Kitchener. A post mortem has been ordered to determine cause of death, however police state it is not being treated as suspicious. The male had been reported missing to Waterloo Regional Police in January 2015.
