Blood donor increase sought in 2010

Canadian Blood Services encourages new blood donors to roll up a sleeve this month at a local blood donor clinic to help reach the January target of 13,050 units of blood in Central Ontario.

“We understand everyone is busy and it is sometimes difficult to find the time to donate blood, but no one is immune to the need for blood. Think of family or friends helped by the generosity of blood donors,” says Marg Gow, Community Development Coordinator, Canadian Blood Services. “You too can make that difference for someone.”

“Roll up a sleeve this January. New donors are encouraged to give,” says Gow

Organizers urge everyone to attend the coming Blood Donor Clinic at the Mount Forest & District Recreation Complex: Jan. 12 from 2pm to 8pm.
