Batteries stolen
County OPP officers are looking to charge someone for stealing batteries from a store here.
Bortolato said police received a report that thieves gained access to a storage area behind the Canadian Tire store on Tower Street South. Approximately 50 used car batteries were stolen between Feb. 8, at 6pm and Feb. 11 8am.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Callers who wish to remain anonymous, can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips. Callers may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
