That’s the theme for this year’s Awards of Excellence gala.

The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce thanked OLG for signing on as the title sponsor for the Awards of Excellence!
The support OLG provides to the Chamber and other organizations in the community throughout the year makes a difference for many, chamber officials state. OLG continues to bring people together with more than 250 sponsored events every year.
The chamber also expressed appreciation for the support of Scotiabank which matched funds with ticket sales.
“This is such a generous community and that is reinforced by the support of over 40 sponsors for this event,” organizers state.
“Come join chamber members as they celebrate the amazing individuals, businesses and, organizations that make Centre Wellington such a ‘Super’ place to live, work and play.”
The gala is on Tuesday, May 17 at the Fergus Grand Theatre in Fergus. The tents will be up to accommodate the superheroes disguised as mere mortals.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available from 6:30pm until 8pm when the awards program will begin inside the theatre.
Awards of Excellence adjudication chair Karen Welch says, “Thank you to the community members and nominees who showed fabulous support in nominating such excellent businesses, organizations and individuals. Your efforts and time taken to complete forms, letters and/or photos is greatly appreciated. We also extend a heartfelt thanks to our community panel of adjudicators who will now face the daunting task of selecting the winners from this array of nominees. There will be passionate debate in many of the categories!”
Tickets for the event are $60 each, including HST and available at Scotiabank (cash or cheque only) between April 18 and May 10, and at the Fergus Grand Theatre (credit card payment also accepted) 519-787-1981.
