Award-winning rock trio to make Guelph debut

GUELPH — Live music is back and there’s no shortage of bands vying for performance slots to play to fervent music fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting this moment. Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold from London, are dead-set on making their way back into the hearts and minds of rock music lovers everywhere.

The award-winning trio garnered attention  pre-pandemic with showcases at Summer NAMM Nashville, Winter NAMM at LA’s legendary Whisky-a-Go-Go, guest spots at festivals like Stars & Thunder Timmins and Vans Warped Tour Toronto, not to mention a support slot for Smashmouth at Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers Regatta.

When covid hit, the buzz surrounding The Truth Untold’s debut EP, Other Side of the Story and their associated touring plans quickly fizzled. The band found themselves without a viable stage – like so many others – for the past three years.

In support of their pandemic-inspired hit single Not My Time, The Truth Untold is thrilled to be travelling to new territory as they conclude their extensive North American summer tour.

They will be performing their first-ever concert in Guelph at long-standing venue Jimmy Jazz (52 Macdonell St. Guelph) on Oct. 14.

Rounding out the bill are locals The Bearskins and fellow female-fronted rockers Circle the City from Sarnia. The event is 19+ and free to the public. Music starts at 10pm.

Drawing inspiration from the deleterious physical, psychological, social and economic ramifications of the pandemic, the band’s frontwoman, Rose Cora Perry penned their latest single, Not My Time in an effort to bring people together and spread a message of hope.

The single has also seen radio play on 50 stations across North America and reached over 100,000 views on Youtube.
