Auditions are coming up at Century Church Theatre for the traditional English pantomime Aladdin by Jo Phenix.
This will be another musical-comedy extravaganza, with comedy, song, and dance, and plenty of fun for audiences and actors, officials say.
The Century Theatre Guild has won awards for past pantos, and always welcomes new as well as returning members.
Show dates are Nov. 19 to Dec. 3 and rehearsals will start on Sept. 5.
Director Neville Worsnop, musical director Doug MacDougall and choreographer Lisa Sandlos will be offering about 30 roles for adults and youths of all ages; children must be able to read from a script.
The audition will be on June 17 at Century Church Theatre at 72 Trafalgar Road, Hillsburgh at 9:30am for children up to Grade 8, and 10am for older youth and adults.
