WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Wellington County 4–H Dairy Team had an amazing experience at the 2025 TD Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, officials say.
The event brings together 4-H members from all across Canada, giving them the chance to show their calves, build confidence and learn from one another.
“Our team worked hard all year training their calves, practicing showmanship and learning new skills,” officials say.
It was a busy few days filled with early mornings, teamwork and lots of excitement.
Wellington County team member results include:
– Ainsley, third Winter Jersey;
– Arielle, ninth Summer Yearling Jersey;
– Charlotte V., seventh Summer Yearling Jersey;
– Charlotte R., Best Herdsperson Ever;
– Emma, second Jersey Spring Yearling, 13th Senior Showperson;
– Haylee, sixth Winter Jersey;
– Josh, sixth Summer Yearling Holstein, sixth Senior Showman;

As a team, Wellington County placed sixth in the Group of Three and finished ninth overall out of 45 counties.
