ERIN -Wellington County OPP say a report about a person with a gun near Erin Public School around 2:30pm on Nov. 21 is unfounded.
According to a news release from police, the school was placed in a hold and secure “as an extra safety measure” for around 40 minutes.
The release added police deemed the report “unfounded” and said there was “no threat to public safety.”
No additional details were provided.
