4-H: woodworking club makes crafts

The third meeting of the Rockwood 4-H Woodworking club was held on June 3 at the Thomson work shed.

Leader June suggested members could make and sell decorated picture frames, so several members began making these.

Others started making wooden birdhouses and wooden clocks. Members were permitted to paint, stain and/or wood burn their projects.

Fourth meeting

The fourth meeting was held on June 10.

Members decided to continue adding their finishing touches on their final projects which were wooden clocks, wooden picture frames or any other wooden project.

Some members decided to add paint, stain, or even wood burn their creations.

We saw lots of interesting products.

Once all members tidied up their work stations, Sarah and Madison closed the meeting with the 4-H Motto.
