4-H Discovery Days

I went to the 4-H Discovery Days (for 10 to 12-year-olds) with Laura and Terra Joy. We were busy playing and learning at the western day. We played potato round-up, where you use a stick to push a potato to the end of the row. We all got to rope a fake bull.

Then everyone rode a fake bull. That was a lot of fun. A person made the fake bull bump around while we rode it; it was kind of funny.

There was a calf and a pony at 4-H Discovery Days that we all got our picture taken with. We were all given a cowboy hat to keep.

We learned how to play Go for the Gold. We hit a button and it would buzz and then we would say the answer to the question.  We were divided into teams and each team had to work together to pull a truck down to a line.

We had lots of fun line dancing. We had cow pies for treats, which are chocolate and marshmallows on a stick. John shot people with his marshmallow gun. John made milkshakes, chocolate and vanilla. They were delicious. It was a fun day. I think everyone should go next year.
