4-H: Cookie club makes Biscotti and cookies

On April 8 the Damascus 4-H cookie club had its third meeting at the United church in Arthur.

All members and leaders started with the 4-H pledge, and began to make jammie sweethearts and chocolate biscotti.

After the cookies were made, they dipped the biscotti in milk and sampled both cookies. All members and leaders gave their opinion what each preferred in them. Most enjoyed the jammie sweethearts over the chocolate biscotti.

Then all members split into groups of two and made ice cream sandwiches vs. chocolate thumbprint cookies. Members and leaders all tasted and enjoyed them. Then they all finished the meeting with the 4-H motto.

Special thanks to the use of the United church, and a Special thanks to the two volunteers, Janice Walsh, and Taylor Black.
