Wellington North Tim Hortons locations kick off food drive on Feb. 13

From Feb. 13 to 19, Tim Hortons restaurants here will participate in a food drive to help replenish the Arthur and Area Food Bank, Community Pantry and Harriston Food Bank.

The drive was created by restaurant owners to raise awareness and donations for food banks in their local communities.

“At Tim Hortons, we believe that it is important to give back to the communities where we live, work and play,” said restaurant owner Mark Vines.

“Our February food drive allows us to work with our guests to help stock area food banks after the busy holiday season.”

Vines, along with his wife Linda own the Arthur, Mount Forest and Harriston Tim Hortons restaurants.

To jump start the event they donated 20 cases of Tim Hortons orange and apple juice to the food banks  in the home communities of each of their restaurants.
