The County of Wellington recently announced the launch of a new county website.
In a press release, the county states the site includes “an intuitive design, functional navigation, and attractive interface.”
The refreshed www.wellington.ca is compatible on all desktop, tablet and mobile devices, the county notes.
“Wellington County is committed to improving communication with our residents and visitors,” said Warden Dennis Lever.
“Our website is the main point of contact for many, so it is important that users can find information about the county’s services, programs, and events quickly and with ease.”
New features include:
– navigation based on the website’s most frequently accessed services;
– prominent search bars that help users find information quickly and easily;
– the ability to subscribe to individual pages, News feeds and calendars;
– real-time News and notices feeds, and social media feeds on key pages;
– a reduced number of pages to facilitate navigation;
– bold graphics and images that highlight Wellington County’s assets;
– compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements for websites; and
– customized library and museum pages.
