An official meeting of Wellington County council will take place at the 2016 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo here this fall.
Warden George Bridge announced at the April 28 meeting that the September meeting would be part of the IPM and held in the county’s showcase tent. The event, hosted by the Wellington County Plowmen’s Association, will be held on the Harriston-area farm of Anne and Earl Schneider from Sept. 20 to 24.
Bridge said a county council meeting held during the 2000 IPM drew considerable attention.
