Residents of Centre Wellington Township are being give an opportunity to make their views known about issues facing the community.
As part of a review of the township’s organizational structures, processes and services being undertaken by Tim L. Dobbie Consulting Ltd., residents are being asked to complete a short survey.
The questions deal mainly with what services are offered and what people might consider to be most important or least important.
“I urge all residents of Centre Wellington to participate in the survey,” said Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj. “It’s your opportunity to tell the consultants what you think are the most important issues facing Centre Wellington. That input will be a crucial part of the recommendations to council that come out of this organizational review.”
The survey is available online, until the end of February. Follow the link on the Centre Wellington website www.centrewellington.ca or go directly to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CentreWellingtonPublic.
Paper copies of the survey are also available at the civic centre service counters in Elora, at the Sportsplex in Fergus, and at the Fergus Fire Station.
All responses to the survey are anonymous and go directly to Dobbie Consulting. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete.
“Apparently there are already a good number of responses,” said Michael Wood, Centre Wellington chief administrative officer. “But we hope that even more people will take advantage of the chance to express their views before the end of February.”
