DRAYTON – The Seniors Centre for Excellence (SCE) will host a series of party lines, yoga and zoom meetings in upcoming weeks to bring joy to people in the SCE community and keep seniors engaged.
Party Line schedule
Pick up the phone and join in the fun.
Every Wednesday and Thursday morning the SCE has fun chatting about the past, present, future, and everything in between.
Whether it’s singsongs, canning, trivia, or old-time recipes, the SCE is covering it all this month.
Come share some time with your peers, share memories, share laughter and build friendships.
Sessions run every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30am.
Upcoming sessions include:
- Wednesday, Oct. 27 – Halloween Traditions at 10:30am; and
- Thursday, Oct. 28 – The Price is Right – Come on down! at 10:30am.
If you want to sign up for any (or all) of these Party-Line sessions, call the office at 519-638-1000 to register, or you can call in yourself at 1-866-279-1594 with guest code 217234 a few minutes before the start time.
Notice of 48-hours in advance is required to make sure you get on the “we’ll call you” list.
Being able to stay connected and engaged with our friends because of the SCE Zoom sessions has brought so much joy to seniors at the SCE.
For Zoom, you do need access to a computer with an internet connection.
Upcoming meetings include:
- guest speaker Ken Seiling, Region Museum, on Life in 1914, Oct. 26 at 10:30am; and
