Sunrises Hoofbeat Challenge raised over $21,000

On Sept. 24 the Sunrise Centre held its annual Hoofbeat Challenge and Family Day at the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre here.

This year’s fundraiser earned over $21,000 to support the therapeutic riding program at Sunrise for children and adults with special needs.

The two top pledge earners this year were Jim Christie and Judi Morris.

The OPP’s Wellington County Mounted Unit with Constable Sarah Van Norman and Auxiliary Constable Brad Hull led the early morning Hoofbeat Challenge riders across four neighbouring properties.

The neighbouring owners permitted that so riders did not need to use local roads
