St. Joseph’s Catholic Church held successful raffle and bazaar

Donation – St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fergus held a successful raffle and bazaar on Oct. 29, thanks to the enormous support from community businesses, fellow parishioners and in-kind services. Attendance was excellent, the weather was perfect, and there was lots for everyone to see or purchase, from baked goods to knitted goods, a toonie table, silent auction and a delicious lunch was available at a minimal cost.

Winners of the raffle were; first prize of $1,000 went to Loretta Palmer of Fergus; second prize of $500 went to Gwen Sytsma of Elora; third prize of $250 went to Marg Barrett of Elora; fourth prize of $150 went to Victor Landoni of Fergus and fifth prize of $100 went to Heather Grant of Guelph. 

Proceeds from this event have been donated to The Groves Memorial Foundation, Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Parish Building Fund. Organizers thank all who came out to support this event.
