Speeder of the Week
WELLINGTON NORTH – On Feb. 10 at about 6:30pm, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic at Highway 6 and Sideroad 4, south of Mount Forest.
Police say the officer observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
A 24-year-old from Kitchener was charged with speeding and performing a stunt (excessive speed) and is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle seized for 14 days.
