SCWC distracted driving video winners announced
Safe Communities Wellington County (SCWC) has announced the first set of winners for its “What Does Distracted Driving Mean to You?” video competition.
Winners from individual municipalities, who will received $75 cash prizes include:
- Hennessey Veit, Centre Wellington Township;
- William Wright, Town of Erin;
- Rachel McCrae, Guelph Eramosa Township; and
- Riley Wake, Wellington North Township.
“I was thrilled to see how creative the videos were,” stated SCWC program coordinator Christine Veit. “They were all able to capture ‘What Distracted Driving Meant to Them.’”
The overall Wellington County winner will be announced at the Wellington County council meeting on May 24 at 10am.
