Funds raised by United Way, which is directed by a board of volunteers, managed by committed staff and supported by thousands of donors, go to support many programs in Wellington, Guelph and Dufferin.

United Way supports a number of local programs and agencies. In the 2017-2018 year, United Way will donate funds to 88 programs at 54 community agencies.

Some of the organizations the United Way supports in include Action Read; Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington, Dufferin, Guelph and North Wellington; Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington; Dufferin Child and Family Services; Family and Children’s Services of Guelph and Wellington County and many more.
