Ride to Conquer Cancer
Ride to Conquer Cancer - Team Cancer Crushers, consisting of from left Lisa and Ray Brown from Elora and Brad Oakman from Toronto, made the two-day ride finishing in Niagara in the pouring rain. Together they raised $8,192 with the help of Elora merchants and residents and friends and family. The participants mentioned it was a very emotional experience watching cancer survivors and their families riding across the finish to the roar of cheering and high fives. The 4,853 participants rode their bikes from Toronto to Niagara Falls, a 220 km trek and raised more than $19 million for Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. submitted photo
